Every morning, first thing, I do a reading for my day which includes the celtic cross to show me what my environment will be like, and what attitudes I will manifest through it. I use it as a “heads up” throughout the day, for attitudes that I could improve on or be careful of.

In any event, I find that the 5 position (possible outcome) really reflects how I feel inside, while the 10 position (final outcome) reflects how I will respond and/or appear externally. Do you guys ever find this when reading the Celtic cross, or other “non-traditional” meanings for the positions?

I too usually get the same outcome as you do. I have tried using only the first 5 cards in the spread to do a daily spread.

Many times I have found in the Celtic Cross spread, that the crown position is what’s going on inside me, while the final outcome is what will come about with the “situation” if I don’t change things

I start with the Celtic cross as well. That usually answers all their questions. If not I will pull a new smaller spread for any follow up questions they have.

I usually follow the Celtic cross with a three card love spread, since 80% of questions I get are relationship oriented. Then I go on from there, depending on questions/clarification needed. But yes the cross to start things off.
